I'm curious as to why Arpaio feels the need to react so negatively to the judge's decision (other than the fact that he likes attention). How can he simply dismiss what this officer did? Couldn't the judge have just throw him in jail immediately after discovering what he had done? I'm interested in what the precedent is for a sheriff who refuses a judge's orders to jail someone, even if it's their own deputy.
